Procedures for filing a complaint Whats New

Any person aggrieved by an order made by the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum established by the Licensee( which presently TNEB) may prefer an appeal against such order to the Electricity Ombudsman within a period of 30 days from the date of order , in such form and manner as may be prescribed by the Commission. (Reg. No.8)

The Electricity Ombudsman may entertain an appeal after the expiry of the said period of 30 days if he is satisfied that there was sufficient cause for not filing within that period. (Reg.
